What? You thought scantily clad women playing sports was limited to football? No sir. Meet the women of the Stripper Basketball League and their vertically challenged coach, Spud Webb. What better way to give your league legitimacy than to thrust forward an NBA player who, undoubtedly, has been a customer of your establishment for decades.
We're not privy to Webb's past coaching record but we're fairly certain his experience on the NBA hardwood makes him a shoo-in for SBL coach of the year.
His players, the lovely ladies of Rick's Cabaret in NYC, seem fond of the little fella.
"He's a hero to people of all sizes and he shows that anyone can accomplish anything," said Gianna, a point guard on the New York team. "Of course we are happy the NBA is coming back in December–they are some of our best customers. We'll play 'til the NBA season starts because our fans and customers want it."
As best we can tell, the league has three teams, the aforementioned Rick's NYC squad, the Minneapolis Downtown Cabaret and Tootsie's Cabaret in Miami. You can find our scouting report of the first game below. Yellow bandana, second in from the right–yea, that girl has V.I.P., er, MVP written all over her.
